About Us

Our Mission

To improve the quality of life for people with asthma and respiratory allergies through education, advocay and research

The Inspiration

Born on Saturday August 8, 1981, Naa Adoley Bruce-Konuah lit the world with her ever present smile and even bigger heart. Her default nature was sharing and caring. She was full of life and love, and always left a trail filled with miracles, wherever she stepped.

35 years down the line, at the peek of her hearty self, icy death enveloped her in its cold embrace, freezing her forever, and robbing us of a rare ebony gem.

One will think that at the age of 35, when she had passed the threshold where chronic diseases have the tendency to kill, she will die from an asthmatic attack. Adoley was always careful to carry her inhaler with her all the time, but not even the best medical care at that time could prevent her death.

Asthma is a killer, and no respecter of race and class, gender or social standing.

Why this foundation

Through her legacy, we seek to create the awareness of a disease that is undiagnosed or misdiagnosed and most often less spoken off.

Our Objectives

  • To create awareness on lifestyle interventions for people with allergy related diseases.
  • To educate people on the dangers of asthma and how patients can live a fulfilling life.
